Adobe Acrobat 9 Highlight Tool Not Working
Highlight tool not working - all other tools work johnpgordillo feb 21, 2018 2:45 am this post looks like it applies to adobe desktop app but i am posting my fix for my the android-version of the adobe app here (specifically for my samsung tab a tablet).. I am having trouble using the highlighter in acrobat x. when one highlights text, the text is backlit with the color of the highlighter...at least that's how highlighting is supposed to work (and how it worked in acrobat 9.x and how it works in microsoft word).. Highlight a pdf step. click on "tools" in the top menu bar. select "comment & markups" and the "highlight text" tool. the highlight text tool is a square button that has the letter "t" inside that has been highlighted in yellow..
I am using acrobat 9, and the highlighter tool is not working at all. when i try to highlight anything nothing happens. i've been searching everywhere for an answer and haven't seen anything on this topic.. However, after the 10.1.1 update of the reader the highlighting no longer works. the plugin was originally developed using acrobat sdk 8.1, but the problem remained even after i upgraded to sdk 10. the highlighting is done using the av-layer with the avpageviewhighlighttext() method.. I run acrobat pro (for mac) 9.5.2 and i cannot get the text highlight tool to function at all. i have all the tools in the toolbar, can select the highlight tool and the color, but nothing happens when i try to select text to highlight..
